What to expect during a Reiki session with David- After arriving to the studio we will talk briefly to confirm what your goals and intentions are for the session next you will lay on the massage table on your back fully clothed. If you are OK with it I will begin with an opening statement or prayer. I will then begin with a technique called Byosen Scanning where I run my hand through your entire energy field noticing any areas of the body that may need attention. I then will check the energy flow of the seven major chakras to notice if they are open and allowing your energy to flow properly or to determine if there are any blockages. Depending on the needs of each individual client I will then start with hand placements beginning from the top of the head and ending at the feet. I can also focus primarily on problem areas or doing a full body session. During the session we may talk some or be in silence. There will be relaxing/ meditative music playing in the room. A standard Reiki session involves placing the hands on and over the head, the back of neck, shoulders, torso, hips, hands, knees and feet. A standard 60 minute session starts at its scheduled time. And last a total of an hour and 15 mins. During first 5 min and the last 10 min we discuss key points of the session.
